Sunny...

Yesterday my life, was filled with rain. Sunny, is my latest commission! I've put my elephant to one side of the drawing board and begun this cutie. His name is Sunny and I have had the Boney M song on continuous play since starting this drawing!





Just like the song, it's happy and upbeat, and I have a really good feeling about this one turning out brilliantly.


At the moment it's just emerging out of the Ugly Stage, but I am posting all of my steps so far.




I've brightened up the pictures a little in Photoshop since they have not turned out very well in this light. He is much less yellow in real life, but it's easier to see the stages of the work like this.

    The portrait was indeed very appreciated! My sister was especially amazed by the fact that Angie managed to notice and to give back to us all the little details in a very accurate manner (we know that it is details that make the difference when it comes to things like this).
